We are pleased to share an ESSA Stakeholder Engagement Guide that CCSSO has developed in collaboration with 15 national civil rights and education organizations. It is available here. This guide can also be found on CCSSO's ESSA support website: http://www.ccsso.org/essa.
This ESSA Stakeholder Engagement Guide provides planning tools and concrete suggestions for identifying and fostering relationships with diverse communities of stakeholders throughout the state planning process and is the foundation for the work with the communication directors here in Arizona this week.
This guide was developed in consultation with the following organizations: AASA, The School Superintendents Association, American Federation of Teachers, The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, National Association of Elementary School Principals, National Association of Secondary School Principals, National Association of State Boards of Education, National Conference of State Legislatures, National Center for Learning Disabilities, National Education Association, National Governors Association, National Indian Education Association, National PTA, National School Boards Association, National Urban League, and Partners for Each and Every Child.
