We are sorry to announce that the November 1 - 2, 2012 Topical Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland has been postponed.   We want to ensure that all registered participants have the appropriate information in a timely manner.

Currently, we are experiencing the effects of Hurricane Sandy in the mid-Atlantic region of the country.  The Governor of Maryland has declared a state of emergency for the City of Baltimore.  While it is impossible to determine what the impact will be on the city and whether or not we will be able to travel to Baltimore and whether or not the hotel will be equipped to accommodate our meeting, we have decided to postpone the meeting.

Rescheduling

We will be working with the hotel to find some available dates when the meeting can be rescheduled and will notify you as soon as we have that information.

Hotel Reservations

Since you made your own reservations with the hotel, please contact Renaissance Harborplace Hotel directly to cancel your room reservation. CCSSO will be working with the hotel to cancel reserved rooms for the meeting but we ask that you also contact the hotel to ensure that your credit card is not charged. If your reservation was made by CCSSO staff, we will cancel your reservation on your behalf. The phone number for the hotel is (410) 547-1200.

Flight Reservations

If you booked your flight through CCSSO's travel service, Egencia, we will cancel your flights.  You should receive an email from Egencia stating that the flight has been cancelled.  If you booked the ticket on your own, you will need to contact the airline and cancel your reservation if the airline hasn't already notified you that your flight has been cancelled.

Additional Information

If you have any questions about your travel arrangements, please contact Kimberly Griffin at kimberlyg@ccsso.org. For any other questions, please feel free to contact Naz Rajput at nazr@ccsso.org, Alison Quint at Alisonq@ccsso.org, or other members of the CCSSO Education Workforce team. If there is a delay in responding to your message, it will probably be the result of lack of electricity.  We will respond as soon as possible.

We are sorry to have to postpone this meeting and look forward to working with you when we reschedule.  We apologize for any inconvenience this postponement causes you but your safety is our first priority.

Thank you.
